Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho

DO YOU KNOW
A WINNING CHILD WITH EPILEPSY?

The Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho is searching for a child to represent the state, and Idaho's 6000 children with epilepsy, as the Foundation's "Winning Kid". The winning candidate will also be entered in the national Epilepsy Foundation's "Winning Kid" contest.

The Foundation honors all children with epilepsy, those who have learned to live with their epilepsy, and those who have overcome difficulties or succeeded in a special activity. Smaller victories by more seriously affected children are equally important.

Any child with epilepsy between the ages of 6 and 10 (who will not reach his or her 10th birthday before July the year following the entry) is eligible to enter. The winner will represent the Foundation by attending various regional activities throughout the year from September through the following summer.

Entries should include a recent photograph of the child and a statement from a parent or guardian detailing why the child would be a good "Winning Kid", the nature of his or her seizure disorder, and how the child has lived with epilepsy. Please mail entries to the Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho, 310 West Idaho, Boise, ID 83702. For more information, call in the Treasure Valley area, 344-4340 and outside this area 1-800-237-6676. Entries must be postmarked by the last day of May. Email EFI
