EFI’s Annual Meeting Recognizes Supporters
Founded in 1971, the Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho observed its 34th annual
meeting November 9, 2005 in Boise. Volunteers, friends, board members, and
staff celebrated a successful year and heard Board President Alan Minskoff
deliver the :State of the Foundation" report outlining the activities and
accomplishments of the previous 12 months.
Mr. Minskoff noted that three new members joined the Board in 2005: Tonya
Sears of Post Falls, Jack Harty of Boise, and Julia Browning, also of Boise.
Reelected to three-year terms at the meeting were Lana Baugh, Karen Havey, Rex
Lott, and Wilma Strohmeier.
Jane Janzer, EFI's Winning Kid, helped Mr. Minskoff recognize and present
certificates of appreciation for "Service to People with Epilepsy." Those honored
were Robert DeLong, Julie Walton, Pat Harting, D. L. Evans Bank, Rose Hill
Jewelry, Tom Hennessey, Mark Witt, St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, and the
Wendell School District. Receiving the "Volunteer of the Year" award was Noah
Minskoff.

Ideas are being sought for a special celebration to mark the 35th anniversary.
