Dick and Yvonne Lierz –
St. Valentine’s Day Massacre 2006 Honorees
Dick and Yvonne Lierz have graciously accepted the invitation to be this year's St. Valentine's Day Massacre honorees. This gala
evening of elegant food, heart-felt tributes and "roastings" is scheduled for Friday, February 10 at Boise's Centre on the Grove.
The many
Lierz friends will have an opportunity to pay tribute to this warm, big-hearted and extraordinary Idaho couple.
The Lierz are owners of Franklin Building Supply, a leading Idaho building
materials company. In addition to their many and varied interests, Dick and
Yvonne have been devoted advocates for the epilepsy community and long time
supporters of the Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho. They have an adult daughter
who was diagnosed with epilepsy while in college. At that time the Lierzs
turned to the Epilepsy Foundation seeking information and support. Since then,
the whole Lierz family has supported the Foundation in limitless ways,
including Yvonne's three-year tenure as president of the EFI board. In addition,
Dick chaired the Treasure Valley Mud Volleyball Tournament for three years and
continues to add his talents and efforts to this annual summertime fund raiser.
Now EFI, along with many friends, has the opportunity to honor this
outstanding duo. Thank you, Dick and Yvonne. We so look forward to this
party.
To place a business or congratulatory advertisement in the evening's
program, call the Foundation office at (208) 344-4340 in the Treasure Valley, or
