The Boise office is located in downtown Boise, three blocks west of St. Lukes Regional Medical Center. This office also services the Nampa area.

Office Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday

Staff members at the Boise location include Marcia Karakas, the Executive Director; Patricia McDaniel, Epilepsy Services Specialist; Debra Snow, Epilepsy Services Specialist;and Megan Egbert, Office Administrator. The Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho maintains a video library in English and Spanish. This center helps people with epilepsy and their families through a broad range of client services. New Executive Director Appointment

The Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcia Karakas as Executive Director since August of 2008. Former Executive Director, David Blackwell, retired after 26 years of exemplary service to the EFI.  Marcia has more than 20 years experience as a volunteer and executive in non-profit organizations - most recently with Make-A-Wish of Idaho.   As the EFI Executive Director, she will provide the overall leadership and management for all affiliate activities with a focus on community outreach programs and public awareness.  Marcia is very excited about the opportunity to work in our Boise community as well as with the offices in Coeur d’Alene and Idaho Falls.  Marcia’s door is always open.
